Guy Denning has a Facebook page where he posts a drawing a day. He’s an English artist who lives in France, and he’s been drawing protesters in the Occupy movement. Some of his latest portraits are of the protesters in Madrid and Oakland. He also has a blog. The last drawing below is titled, “Occupy Oakland (soldier down)” and depicts Scott Olsen, the Iraq war veteran who suffered a fractured skull from a police projectile in the Oakland protests. We included a YouTube video of Denning at work in his studio so you can get a sense of the process he uses.
